Recognizing the importance for infrastructure development in nanoscale science and engineering researchers and research administrators from North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming and Nebraska have formed the Northcentral States Nanosystems Consortium (NSNC) to lead nano-science and engineering research in the region. Teleconferences and other collaboration efforts have focused upon developing synergistic relationships, defining nanoscale research investigations that are potentially transformative and regionally feasible, and identifying unique, multi-user research facilities of consortium members.
